Safe Routes to School – the city shall work, where possible, with the McMinnville School District and neighborhood associations to maintain and improve its programs to evaluate the existing pedestrian access to local schools, estimate the current and potential use of walking as a travel mode, evaluate safety needs, and propose changes to increase the percentage of children and young adults safely using this mode.
