Work with the Urban Renewal Board to utilize historic preservation as a key revitalization tool supporting both the historic character and regional destination draw of downtown and the larger Urban Renewal Area. Historic preservation can anchor place identity and support an authentic experience for visitors while providing a context for compatible new development.
