The operator of a motor vehicle involved in an accident on other property open to public travel which results in injury or death to a person or causes damage to another occupied vehicle shall stop immediately at the scene of the accident, or as close thereto as possible, and shall remain at the scene of the accident until he has fulfilled the following requirements:

A. Rendered to a person injured in the accident reasonable assistance, including the conveying or the making of arrangements for the conveying of the person to a physician or hospital for medical treatment, if it is apparent that treatment is necessary, or if the injured person requests conveyance;

B. Given to the occupant of the other vehicles his name and address and the names and addresses of any other occupants of the vehicle he is operating. (Ord. 3629 §54 (1), 1972).
