A. All newsracks shall be covered by liability insurance in the amount specified by ORS 30.270. Proof of insurance shall be filed with the city on an annual basis.

B. The city is not responsible for personal injuries or damages to personal property caused by a newsrack. An injured party shall recover all damages from the owner of the newsrack in the amount awarded by a court or negotiated by the owner and injured party. (Ord. 4235 §3, 1983).
