Monitored customers will be placed in the appropriate class based on the best available data on typical BOD and TSS concentrations combined. Annual average wastewater concentrations (from sampling data), and/or industry reference data (supplemented with available local sampling data) may be used.

Customer classification assignments will be reviewed annually to determine whether reclassification is appropriate.

Volume charges for monitored industrial/commercial customers shall be established within the rate resolution adopted by the city council. (Ord. 4997, 2015; Ord. 4987, 2015).
