2.40.100 Fees and costs.
A. The clerk of the McMinnville municipal court shall collect in advance, and in addition to any other fine or penalty, the following fees:
1. For preparing a transcript of record on an appeal to the Yamhill County Circuit Court, $20.00;
2. Suspension for failure to appear or failure to comply, $10.00;
3. For the issuance of a warrant, $10.00.
The aforementioned feeds may be waived or modified by the municipal judge when such action is required in the interests of justice.
B. In all cases where a defendant has been convicted of a violation of any city ordinance or state traffic offense presented in the municipal court, the municipal judge may add costs to the fine, penalty, or sentence imposed upon conviction according to the following schedule:
1. Trial cost, $10.00;
2. Jury fee, $60.00 or actual costs for the number of jurors appearing;
3. Subpoenaed witnesses, $10.00, plus mileage as established by Oregon Revised Statutes for each witness (called by the defense);
4. Costs of court-appointed counsel. (Ord. 3990 §5, 1979; Ord. 3541 (part), 1970).
