When the city provides ambulance patients with prescription drugs, the following fee schedule shall be in effect:

Drugs purchased from the supplier at a cost of less than $5.00 will cost $5.00; drugs purchased from the supplier costing $5.00 or more but less than $10.00 will cost $10.00; and thereafter drug costs shall be computed in increments of $5.00. For example, if the drug costs $33.00, then the patient’s cost shall be $35.00, etc. (Ord. 4300 §1, 1984).
