Every person or firm engaged in the business of selling at retail firearms as defined in MMC 5.28.010 shall apply to the city recorder for a license to engage in such business within the city, and upon approval of such applicant by the chief of police, the city recorder shall issue such applicant a license on a form prepared by the Attorney General of the state. The applicant shall pay to the city a license fee of ten dollars upon the issuance of such license, and such license shall terminate one year from the date of its issuance. (Ord. 3367 §3, 1967).
