Any person violation chapter shall, upon conviction thereof in the city court (or recorder’s court, or other designation, as may be) be punished by a fine of not to exceed $300.00 dollars, or by imprisonment in the city jail for a period not exceeding 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. The police department shall keep a complete record of all complaints and the termination thereof brought under this chapter. (Ord. 1875 §11, 1934).
