Prior to issuance of a street vendor’s license, the building official and fire marshal shall inspect each mobile device to be used. The building official shall certify that the device is structurally and mechanically sound, that the design will not create a nuisance or hazard to the public, and the size of the mobile vending device meets the requirements of MMC 5.54.030. The fire marshal shall certify that any cooking or heating apparatus is in conformance with the provisions of the city fire code. (Ord. 4083 §4, 1980).
