Upon the granting of a license by the council to any owner, said license shall specify by streets and intersection the route or routes over which the owner shall be permitted to maintain bus service, and thereafter each owner shall maintain such service on said route or routes so designated. Each owner shall operate his bus only upon or over such route or routes as shall be designated in said license, save and except that the city council may by resolution permit the alteration, enlargement, or curtailment of such route or routes. Any owner found guilty of operating his buses over and upon any street or streets not designated in his license shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this chapter. (Ord. 2179 §4, 1946).
