A business license fee for a security services business shall be $25.00 per year. After receipt of the application and its processing by the chief of police, the matter shall be brought before the council, at the next regularly scheduled council meeting, for its consideration and issuance of a license. An application for a license renewal must be filed 30 days prior to the expiration date of the current license. Licenses shall not be issued for more than one year. Upon approval of the license by the council, the city recorder shall issue a business license. (Ord. 3824 §7, 1976).
