Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $100.00, or by imprisonment in the city jail for not less than one day nor more than ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
