A. Violation of any provisions in MMC 8.36.020 is a Class C violation pursuant to ORS 153.012. Each day that a violation occurs will be considered a separate offense.

B. Violation of any provisions in MMC 8.36.030 is a Class C misdemeanor pursuant to ORS 161.555(1)(d).

C. In addition to any other penalties that may be imposed, any campsite used for overnight sleeping in a manner not authorized by this chapter or other provisions of this code shall constitute a public nuisance and may be abated as such.

D. The provisions of this chapter will be enforced in accordance with ORS 203.079 or until released by the city prosecutor. Vehicles that are being held by the city under this chapter will be released to the legal owner or interest holder who has evidence of the following: (1) ownership or legal right to possession; and (2) valid, current automobile insurance covering the vehicle.
