A. A person commits the crime of failure to appear if (by court order he has been released from custody upon a release agreement or security release upon the condition that he will subsequently appear personally in connection with a charge against him of having committed a misdemeanor or violation) he intentionally fails to appear as required.

B. “Intentionally” or “with intent” when used with respect to a result or to conduct described by a statute defining an offense, means that a person acts with a conscious objective to cause the result or to engage in the conduct so described. (Ord. 4122 §1, 1981).
