A person or business firm desiring to land and/or take off an aircraft within the city, at a location other than at the McMinnville Municipal airport, shall first obtain a permit from the city. The procedure is as follows:

A. For all permits pertaining to a single flight or for duration of one day or less, a permit may be issued by the city manager after the factors to be considered in MMC 11.20.040 are addressed. The city manager shall prepare an application form to obtain the required information.

B. All permits of duration longer than one day shall be issued after receipt of an application which provides information concerning the factors to be considered. This application form shall be prepared by the city manager. No permit shall be issued for more than one year. A renewal of a permit may be granted by the city manager, provided no complaints have been received.

C. All applications must include written permission from the owner of the property which the aircraft will be landed on and/or taken off from. (Ord. 4973 §1, 2013).
