A. The city manager shall be elected by the council, subject to the approval by the mayor, and shall serve at the pleasure of the council.

B. The city manager shall be required to give a fidelity bond in an amount fixed by the council conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties, and the premium of such bond shall be paid by the city. (Ord. 3444 §4, 1969).
