A. Notwithstanding any other provisions contained in this ordinance or any amendment thereto, any machine gun, pistol, revolver, or other firearm concealed in a vehicle or capable of being concealed upon the person or used during the commission of a felony or misdemeanor, shall be disposed of by destruction or by sale at a public auction to be held annually, sale and notice to be in accordance with ORS 166.280.

B. Weapons not capable of being concealed upon the person and surrendered, found, or abandoned to the police may be disposed of as set forth in this chapter, as previously amended. (Ord. 4190 §1, 1982).
