A. The following person(s), firm, business, corporation or society, either public or private, is exempt from filing an application or paying a license fee if they:

1. Operate a business established in the city on a regular and continuing basis.

2. Conduct a dance for which there is no fee to enter or remain on the premises.

3. Conduct a dance within a hall, room or regular meeting place of any lodge, charitable, patriotic, civic or benevolent society or private organization to which the general public is not invited, but admission thereto is confined to the membership of such society or organization and their guests.

B. The license fee may be waived by the city manager when the benefit is conducted by a nonprofit organization. (Ord. 3961 §4, 1978).
