The chief of police, within 15 days from the date of the application, shall endorse the application as satisfactory or unsatisfactory, and shall list his reason if the application is not returned to the city recorder it shall be presumed to be approved. The city recorder shall notify the applicant of the action taken in regard to his application. (Ord. 3961 §7, 1978).
