A. No person licensed under this chapter shall have an exclusive right to any specific location on any public sidewalk, nor shall be permitted a stationary location, nor shall he be allowed to occupy any area within ten feet from the inside crosswalk mark at the corner of each block, ten feet from the entrance to an alleyway, eight feet from the entrance to any building doorway or in front of any restaurant that fronts on the street or alleyway, and the mobile vending device must occupy space adjacent and abutting the curb.

B. A person conducting business on a sidewalk shall pick up any paper, cardboard, wood, or plastic containers, wrappers, or any litter in any form which is deposited by any person on the sidewalk or street within 50 feet of the mobile device at any time it is in a stationary position and the street vendor is conducting business.

C. No licensee shall make any loud or unreasonable noise of any kind by vocalizing or otherwise for the purpose of advertising or attracting attention to his wares.

D. No permitted mobile device shall be left unattended on a sidewalk, nor be positioned in such a manner that passage is prohibited to sidewalk users. (Ord. 4083 §6, 1980).
